Four European states to add more than 3000 daily ATM movements to networks by 2040

CAPA - Centre for Aviation, in a report entitled: 'Aviation infrastructure: Crisis in Europe and Asia', stated (19-Jul-2018) France, Germany, Turkey and the UK will add more than 3000 movements per day to their ATM network by 2040. In the 2017-2040 time horizon, Turkey will handle 2.5 times as many flights. This expected growth will directly impact neighbouring countries, so Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Cyprus and Greece will experience a high level of traffic and ATC demand, with expected growth around 80% compared to 2016.
