flyBAIR, via its official Twitter account, reported (08-Jan-2020) it has until 16-Jan-2020 to "collect the remaining capital we need". Bookings will be available from the end of Jan-2020. As previously reported by CAPA, the start-up aims to raise a further CHF1.3 million (EUR1.2 million) from investors by the end of Jan-2020 "to have sufficient reserves for the first operating year", for total start-up capital of approximately CHF2.5 million (EUR2.3 million). According to its website, the carrier has raised CHF1.3 million as part of its ongoing crowdfunding initiative to date.
