Florianopolis and Brasilia airports to trial facial recognition system

Florianopolis Hercilio Luz Airport and Brasilia International Airport plan to trial a facial recognition identification system to increase efficiency and reduce contact over identification procedures (Valor, 24-Jul-2020). Brazil's Ministry of Infrastructure hired Brazilian data processing company SERPRO for BRL2 million (USD388,078) p/a to facilitate government data to the new system.
