Flight Centre Travel Group reportedly loses NAB corporate travel management account

8 March, 2018

National Australia Bank (NAB) reportedly partially suspended its relationship with Flight Centre Travel Group as its major corporate travel provider late in 2017, due to concerns about overcharging on booking fees (The Sydney Morning Herald, 08-Mar-2018). NAB reportedly moved the most of its corporate flight bookings from FCM Travel Solutions, the corporate travel management unit of Flight Centre, to American Express Global Business Travel. Flight Centre cofounder and CEO Graham Turner confirmed the parties had a "commercial disagreement" in late 2017, but stated it was "quickly and fully resolved last year". Mr Turner also confirmed that NAB "made a commercial decision to switch some of its travel business."
