Finnair outlines operating network and suspensions

Finnair announced (18-May-2020) plans to operate the following network, which will be reviewed monthly and will be updated as travel restrictions are removed and demand recovers:

  • Asia: Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo Narita, Singapore, Seoul and Bangkok, effective Jul-2020. Delhi and Tokyo Haneda services will resume Aug-2020;
  • North America: New York service to resume Aug-2020;
  • Winter services: Miami, Krabi and Phuket;
  • Europe: Berlin, Brussels, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dublin, Düsseldorf, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, Gothenburg, Geneva, Hamburg, London, Malaga, Manchester, Moscow, Munich, Oslo, Paris, Prague, Riga, Tallinn, Stockholm, St Petersburg, Vilnius, Vienna and Zürich services to resume Jul-2020. Barcelona, Milan, Madrid, Rome and Warsaw service to resume in Aug-2020, with selected destinations in southern Europe as part of its summer schedule;
  • Domestic network: Kuopio, Mariehamn, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Turku and Vaasa service scheduled to resume in Jul-2020. Ivalo and Kittilä services are scheduled to resume in Aug-2020, with Kuusamo and Tampere service to resume in Sep-2020. Finnair will not operate to Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Kajaani, Kemi or Kokkola during summer 2020.
