Fiji Airways to introduce cashless transactions at Auckland International Airport

Fiji Airways plans to introduce cashless transactions at Auckland International Airport following a successful trial period at Wellington and Christchurch airports earlier in 2018 (southpacificisland.travel, 28-Sep-2018). The carrier, from 01-Oct-2018, will only accept cash free transactions for airport desk operations including new ticket purchases, business class upgrades, lounge access, extra leg room seats, up front seats and baggage fees. Operations at Wellington and Christchurch Airports are now also permanently cashless. Major international credit and debit cards or New Zealand eftpos cards will be accepted for payments.
