10 May, 2020

Fiji Airways extended (08-May-2020) the suspension of international services until the end of Jun-2020. The airline also expects to offer reduced scheduled services for Jul-2020. Any resumption of services will depend on the easing of border restrictions and the return of demand. Fiji Airways originally suspended international operations from Mar-2020 to 31-May-2020. MD and CEO Andre Viljoen commented: "While the near term outlook remains bleak, we remain flexible and will be ready to launch services as soon as practical". He added: "The outlook remains bleak, and we are preparing for the worst while hoping for the best". [more - original PR]
