Fiji Airways approved for codeshare with American Airlines, American Eagle

    US DoT issued (27-Jul-2018) a notice of action taken in relation to a request filed by Air Pacific Limited, trading as Fiji Airways on 19-Sep-2017, whereby the carrier sought Renewal of exemption from 49 U.S.C. § 41301 to permit Fiji Airways to engage in scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property, and mail to the extent necessary to display its FJ designator code on services operated by American Airlines and American Eagle beyond Honolulu, Los Angeles, and San Francisco to any point in the US and between any point or points in the US, on the one hand, and Canada, the UKMexico, and Brazil on the other hand. The action was approved with effective dates of exemption granted from 27-Jul-2018 to 27-Jul-2019.
