Fiji Airports CEO Faiz Khan said Fiji Airports will undertake runway development works at Lakeba Airport, Kadavu Airport and Labasa Airport until mid 2020 (Fiji Sun, 30-Nov-2019). Mr Khan said runway upgrades are "at a substantial cost" however benefit "the economy of these geographically isolated locations".
