FBB CEO reaffirms autumn 2020 deadline for opening of Berlin Brandenburg Airport

Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg Gmbh (FBB), via its official Twitter account, retweeted (28-Oct-2018) reports FBB CEO Dr Engelbert Lütke Daldrup reaffirmed an autumn 2020 deadline for opening of Berlin Brandenburg Airport (welt.de, 28-Oct-2018). Remaining works include testing of technical systems including fire alarms and sprinkler and ventilation systems, with construction works having been completed "for almost a year". "There is a clear timetable, we have prepared for various risks", he said, adding FBB has a "good business plan and clear funding for the additional construction costs" after 2020.
