EVA Air plans to commence Boeing 787-9 operations to Europe from May-2019 (ATW, 26-Mar-2019). EVA Air GM Austria and CEE Edward Ho said that although Europe is a relatively small part of the carrier’s network, accounting for 10% of its business, “but it is strategically very important”. The 787-9 will also operate on Taiwan Taoyuan-Amsterdam route from Oct-2019.
