Eurowings selling middle seats to keep them vacant for social distancing

Eurowings plans to sell middle seats from EUR18 to keep them vacant to improve social distancing onboard (fvw, 13-Aug-2020). More than 4000 middle seats have already been sold, however passengers must contact Eurowings' call centre after booking to add the middle seat to their current booking. The airline is reportedly expected to begin selling the offer via its online booking system by the end of Sep-2020.
