Eurowings OTP at 93% in Nov-2019 through ‘SCOPE’ operations’ optimisation programme

    Eurowings reported (10-Dec-2019) on time performance (OTP) of 93% in Nov-2019, citing OAG data. CEO Thorsten Dirks said punctuality values increased by more than 10% year-on-year, while customer satisfaction increased by as much as 35%. Eurowings‘ ‘SCOPE’ programme initiated in 2018 aimed initially to stabilise the carrier’s operations and then gradually raise them back to leading levels through the extension of ground times, optimised service provider management, faster boarding processes and other initiatives.
