European regional airports facing ‘stall’ in pax traffic: ACI Europe DG

    ACI Europe DG Oliver Jankovec noted (10-Jul-2019) a “stall” in passenger traffic at smaller regional airports in May-2019, which is indicative of “fragility and the usually tougher trading conditions they face”. ACI Europe stated European regional airports “underperformed” the European average, with passenger traffic decreasing 0.3% year-on-year.
