European airline group capacity down 95% in 2Q2020, easyJet showing the deepest cuts

CAPA - Centre for Aviation, in a report entitled: 'European airlines' summer gloom. More equity needed', stated (17-Aug-2020) Europe's eight groups' collective ASKs fell by 94.5% year-on-year to 21 billion in 2Q2020. The collective decline in capacity was fairly evenly experienced by each of the eight groups. The deepest cut was by easyJet, with a 99.5% reduction, while Wizz Air's 88.4% decline was the narrowest cut. [more - CAPA Analysis]
