EU backed PASSME initiative explores ways to improve passenger experience at airports

5 July, 2018

EU backed project PASSME (personalised airport systems for seamless mobility and experience) explored elements affecting airport passenger experience at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and Hamburg Airport in response to increased airport traffic (phys.org, 29-Jun-2018). The project envisages development of solutions to improve airport processes including design of a passenger forecast management system, improving airport interiors and development of a personalised mobile application to provide airport information to passengers. PASSME also showcased its PASSME experience lounge "passenger centric" airport waiting area at Hamburg Airport in May-2018.
