Etihad Airways to suspend Edinburgh and Perth routes in network adjustment

    Etihad Airways plans to suspend five times weekly Abu DhabiEdinburgh service, effective 30-Sep-2018, according to a 10-Apr-2018 GDS display. The airline also serves London Heathrow and Manchester, according to OAG. It also plans to suspend daily Abu DhabiPerth service from 01-Oct-2018, as per a 10-Apr-2018 GDS and inventory timetable display. The carrier said the suspension is “one of several adjustments that we are making to our network in 2018 in order to improve system profitability” (Perth Now/Australian Business Traveller/Routes Online, 10-Apr-2018). The carrier operates daily on the route, with Boeing 787-9 and A330-200 equipment, according to OAG.
