Ethiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said the country plans to initiate visa free travel regime for all African citizens travelling to Ethiopia "very soon", following the example of Rwanda (AllAfrica.com, 26-May-2018). As previously reported by CAPA, Rwanda introduced a new visa regime granting free 90 day visas to visitors to African nations and East African Community partner states in Nov-2017.
