Emirates to deploy A380 aircraft for first time on Dubai-Saint Petersburg service

Emirates announced (10-Sep-2018) plans to deploy A380 aircraft on Dubai-Saint Petersburg service between 25-Oct-2018 and 29-Oct-2018, temporarily replacing Boeing 777 aircraft as it seeks to meet increased demand for travel during the autumn school holidays. Emirates noted this will be the first an A380 has operated to Saint Petersburg, which demonstrates "the extensive work and preparation the airport has undertaken in order to receive the double-decker aircraft".
