Emirates delays Dubai-Dublin frequency increase due to infrastructure concerns at Dublin Airport

Emirates country manager Ireland Enda Corneille stated while a strong relationship exists with daa, infrastructure issues remain at Dublin Airport (Sunday Indo Business, 27-May-2018). "There are a number of pain points already in T2", he said, specifying: "One of which is around the US customs... We believe that can be sorted through more intensive security technology to smooth people through". Mr Corneille said the issues are causing a delay in a potential Dubai-Dublin frequency increase from two to three times daily.
