Here are the key executive changes for March 2019;

  • Gebr Heinemann announced (05-Mar-2019) the following appointments to its executive team:
    • Max Heinemann as CEO;
    • Raoul Spanger as COO;
    • Kay Spranger as CCO;
    • Stephan Ernst as CFO.
  • ENAC announced the Italian Government approved the appointment of Nicola Zaccheo as ENAC president;
  • Flybe CIO Peter Hauptvogel confirmed his departure from the airline in Mar-2019;
  • Lufthansa Group extended the contract of Ulrik Svensson as CFO until 31-Dec-2022;
  • Imam Khomeini Airport appointed Ali Rostami as CEO, to oversee and manage construction at the airport;
  • Air Italy appointed Sergio Boscarol as chief human resources and organisation officer, effective immediately;
  • Air Namibia appointed Xavier Masule as interim CEO, replacing Mandi Samson who resigned, effective 15-Mar-2019;
  • BRA – Braathens Regional Airlines appointed Geir Stormorken as CEO, replacing Christian Clemens;
  • Norwegian Air announced Bjørn H Kise will resign as chairman of the board after the AGM on 07-May-2019;
  • Air France-KLM announced plans to appoint Janet Dekker as EVP human resources, effective 13-May-2019;
  • easyJet reported chief operating officer Chris Browne plans to retire. easyJet director flight operations David Morgan was appointed interim COO, however Ms Browne will be available for consultation until late Jun-2019;
  • Duesseldorf Airport appointed CEO Thomas Schnalke as chairman of the airport’s three member management board, effective 01-Apr-2019;
  • TAROM appointed Florin Susanu as director general in Mar-2019;
  • Kalaallit Airports appointed Peter Wistoft as CEO on 25-Mar-2019;
  • Hamburg Airport Helmut Schmidt announced plans to appoint Christian Kunsch as MD, effective 01-Jun-2019;
  • Georgian Airways announced the appointment of Roman Bokeria as director general;
  • Stobart Group appointed Lewis Girdwood as CFO and executive director, effective 01-Apr-2019. Mr Girdwood has served as CFO to IAG Cargo;
  • Angara Airlines appointed Sergey Mordvintsev as director, effective 01-Apr-2019.
