LATAM Airlines Ecuador CEO Daniel Leng stated local requirements to reactivate aviation in Ecuador include the need for passengers to present a COVID-19 negative result taken at most 72 hours before the service (Metro Ecuador, 06-Jul-2020). The carrier resumed operations in Jun-2020 with 5% of its Jun-2019 capacity. In Jul-2020 the carrier plans to reach 18% of its capacity.
