easyJet COO: There are 'too many aircraft' in the skies

easyJet COO Chris Browne stated overcapacity is a key obstacle in the aviation industry (TTG Media, 24-Nov-2018). Ms Browne said there are "too many aircraft in the skies" which is putting pressure on pricing. She also mentioned external factors such as fuel prices as impacting airline failures. She added that there is "an oversupply" in the industry, which is "seeing the consequences of that over time".
