Eastar Jet aims to boost share of direct ticket sales in Japan-South Korea market

Eastar Jet regional manager for Japan Park Kyon-ho said the airline aims to capture 40% of ticket sales for its own Japan-South Korea services via direct sales channels (Travel Vision, 10-Jun-2019). The carrier currently has around 30% market share in ticket sales for its Japanese services, while online travel agents and retail travel agents capture the remaining 30% and 40% respectively.
