Dynamic International Airways asks to meet with US DoT, looks to increase fleet

12 March, 2018

Dynamic International Airways submitted (12-Mar-2018) a request to meet with the US Department of Transportation (DoT), as it seeks to increase its fleet to 10 operating aircraft based on updated fitness information. The carrier said approval of the request will "serve an important public interest by making available wide body lift for both passengers and cargo" that is otherwise not available. Dynamic exited chapter 11 on 08-Mar-2018 and "immediately needs" the necessary authorisation to operate the additional aircraft. Ken Woolley is now the airline's sole owner, and is prepared to invest another USD15 million to cover any operating expenses if needed as the new aircraft are integrated into the fleet. The carrier is also submitting a request to register the trade name of Eastern Air Lines under part 215. [more - original PR]
