Dutch aviation industry pays EUR780m p/a in taxes, levies: KLM

    KLM Royal Dutch Airlines published (11-Oct-2018) a “facts and figures” sheet on fares in the Netherlands and associated taxes. “Aviation in the Netherlands and its passengers pay EUR780 million per year in taxes and levies”, KLM said. KLM used a typical AmsterdamBudapest fare as an example, showing 50% of the ticket consists of taxes and levies.
