Domio seeking to break into the corporate and group traveller accommodation market

    Domio co-founder and CEO Jay Roberts reported the company is “signing and opening apartment hotels” to help capture the corporate and group traveller markets (Business Travel News, 03-Jul-2019). Mr Roberts said the business traveller needs a number of requirements, including “a clean bed, a room, fast WiFi, a gym to work out in” in order for accommodation to be attractive. The company is focusing on multi-bedroom units for corporate groups, with a value proposition that it offers “more space” and allows groups to “be together at about 75 per cent of the cost” compared to traditional hotels.
