DFS and BDF develop joint German 'National Airspace Strategy'

DFS and Federal Association of German Airlines (BDF) announced (19-Nov-2019) a joint 'National Airspace Strategy' for Germany. The strategy is a comprehensive work programme for a continuous development of airspace management. DFS CEO and Chairman Klaus-Dieter Scheurle stated: "The joint strategy demonstrates the constructive cooperation between airspace users and air traffic control...The necessary efforts to optimise the airspace structure and standardise technologies and standards in European airspace will lead to the desired sustainability and efficiency gains only in close and equal cooperation between all system partners".
