Delta Air Lines outlined (20-Dec-2018) the following plans of its Delta Flight Products start up:
- Introduction of first wireless seat back IFE system with the launch of A220-100 operations on 31-Jan-2019. The wireless IFE system will also roll out on the airline's A321neo and A330-900neo aircraft and will be retrofitted to Boeing 767-400 aircraft during mid life interior modernisations from 2019;
- Manage the mid life cabin modernisation for the airline's 767-400 and 777 fleets through the design, integration and production of new parts; configuring the aircraft with new lavatories, IFE and lighting systems; and managing US FAA certification. [more - original PR]
