Delta looking to accelerate USD3.5bn La Guardia redevelopment

Delta Air Lines CFO Paul Jacobson reported the carrier is aiming to finish a USD3.5 billion redevelopment at New York LaGuardia Airport earlier than the original 2026 completion date (Forbes, 22-May-2020). Mr Jacobson stated: "With the drop in demand, we actually see an opportunity to accelerate some of the construction", adding it would "lower the overall project cost but also deliver it much, much sooner".
