Delta Air Lines will launch self service bag drop units at London Heathrow Airport, available to customers on all services operated by the carrier to the US (travelmole.com, 29-Jan-2019). The units are compatible with Delta's Radio Frequency Identification bag tracking technology by issuing chipped bag tags. Passengers can also check bags in real time through the Fly Delta app.
