Delta Air Lines: Technology and innovation will be a competitive advantage

    Delta Air Lines COO Gil West stated the carrier “really” believes it will be able to “leverage technology and innovation as a competitive advantage” (Hypepotamus, 21-May-2018). He said technology is “not just a marketing tool”, and will ultimately drive applications crucial to the customer experience. Mr West highlighted Delta is a “big” believer in running trials and “perfecting those to the point that we can scale them”. He added: “We’re not just jumping out and scaling things, which could lead to big failures”.
