Sabre Airline Solutions announced (04-Mar-2019) Delta Air Lines joined its Beyond NDC programme, a group working to hasten the process of development, integration and testing of end to end NDC capabilities. Additionally, Sabre noted it has been working with ATPCO, Delta and other major carriers to develop and test a new approach to shopping based on next generation storefront (NGS) standards. ATPCO chief commercial officer Jonathan Savitch stated the NGS will be a "more effective approach" to shopping, creating a "dramatic shift" in how passengers think about value when purchasing tickets.
