Delta Air Lines: Improvements across business drove operating revenue of USD9.8bn in 1Q2018

    Delta Air Lines stated adjusted operating revenue of USD9.8 billion for 1Q2018 was a 8% improvement year-on-year, driven by improvements across its business including a 23% in cargo revenue and a USD78 million increase in total loyalty revenue. Delta‘s branded fares initiative drove USD421 million in premium up-sell revenue in 1Q2018, a 23% increase year-on-year. Total unit revenues excluding refinery sales (TRASM) increased 5.0%, while all geographic regions delivered positive results.
