Delta Air Lines CEO: delta.com to take ‘more and more’ traffic from online agencies

    Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian stated (11-Jul-2019) online agencies sell approximately 10% to 15% of Delta‘s tickets today, compared to approximately one third of tickets 10 years ago. He noted delta.com is expected to take “more and more of that traffic” in the future and while the carrier will not “put a stake in the ground” and refuse to sell tickets over other channels, online agencies are aware a more differentiated experience for passengers is necessary for Delta to continue investing in them.
