Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport considering installing security wait time technology

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is reportedly considering a USD2.7 million project to install sensors at US TSA security checkpoints and the US Customs and Border Protection arrivals facility that can measure the flow of passengers passing through security (The Dallas Morning News, 05-Sep-2018). The airport plans to use the technology to communicate wait times via its mobile app and website.
