CTC Gathering - China sees 70% buyer to supplier ratio!

Asia's fastest growing travel manager grouping, the Corporate Travel Community (CTC) held its inaugural China Gathering on 31 October 2019 at the prestigious Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on The Bund.

Some 70% of attendeeswere travel managers/travel buyers from leading corporations and Shanghai State-Owned Enterprises including Abbott, AbbVie, Accenture, Adidas, Avery Dennison, Bayer, Boston Scientific, Camloy International, Career International, COMAC, Continental Automotive Holding, Corning, Cosco Shipping, CP Group, Dege Hotel Management Consulting (Shanghai), Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Hixmas, Howard Johnson Co, IBM China, IPG Automotive, Jin Han, LANXESS Chemical (China), Nouryon, NYU Shanghai, Oerlikon, Philips, Resonance, Sandvik, Shanghai CIIC Science & Technology Development, Shanghai Municipal Lung Specialist Hospital, Shanghai Yang Hua International, Shanghai Yong Gao Trading, SPXFLOW, Textron, Vetech and ZF (China) Investment.

The agenda included workshops on the aviation, accommodation and payments/expense management outlook for corporate travel in China and featured speakers from AirPlus, American Airlines, BL5 Consulting, CAPA - Centre for Aviation, Japan Airlines and the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai.

The CTC Gathering - China 2020 will be held in Shanghai in mid-2020. CTC will hold five 'Gatherings' in 2020 (large scale events), in China (Shanghai), Japan (Tokyo), Singapore, Hong Kong and Sydney.
