Coronavirus to provide a 'catalyst for change' for passenger comfort standards: KLM CEO

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines president and CEO said the coronavirus outbreak is having a "huge impact" on the business, with the airline only operating around 5% to 10% of its regular schedule (Bloomberg, 21-Apr-2020). He said it will "clearly the recovery of corona is going to take a while". He also argued the situation could be leveraged as a "catalyst for change" for improving passenger comfort standards.
