Copa Airlines CEO Pedro Heilbron, via the carrier's 3Q2018 financial results call, stated (15-Nov-2018) Wingo will have its four Boeing 737-700 fleet replaced with four 737-800s and incorporate a fifth 737-800 throughout 2019, "which will further lower their unit cost and increase profitability". The additional aircraft will "most likely" be based in Panama.
