Copa Airlines CEO Pedro Heilbron commented on the impact of COVID-19 on the carrier's operations, stating when the carrier resumes operations it "will be more similar to what we were 28 years ago than to what we were 28 days ago" (Reportur, 17-Apr-2020). Mr Heilbron added he is not expecting the Government of Panama to provide assistance, adding: "We have to source [assistance] on our own, something difficult as banks have closed their doors to the aviation industry".
