Gold Coast Airport completed (11-Jun-2019) the 3000sqm concrete slab for the foundations of the airport's AUD50 million (USD35 million) Rydges branded hotel. Construction of the 192 room hotel, located to the south of the terminal, will now commence and is on track to open in mid 2020. The hotel is being built by local construction company Condev on behalf of developer Trepang, whose hotel portfolio also includes two located at airports. [more - original PR]
