16 March, 2020

CAPA - Centre for Aviation, in a report entitled: 'Brazilian airport concession scheme: contract revisions requested', stated (14-Mar-2020) the biggest gripe afflicting Brazilian airport operators is that some feel they were misled about the value of their investments, and particularly as to what were the realistic returns on those investments in terms of passenger numbers. Such concerns have impacted on valuations for subsequent transactions. CAPA added that Campinas Viracopos Airport and Natal Aluízio Alves International Airport are examples of concessions where the original investors are not satisfied and Rio de Janeiro Galeão International Airport concession dissatisfaction is likely to arise.
