Colombia to invest USD12bn in airport infrastructure over the next four years

Colombia Aerocivil, via its official Twitter account, announced (21-Nov-2018) plans to invest over COP3.8 trillion (USD11.9 billion) over the next four years, targeting to handle over 100 million passengers by 2030 and double the current cargo traffic. Colombia Aerocivil DG Juan Carlos Salazar stated: "Our priority is to modernise the airport infrastructure in the country". Colombia has 14 tenders launched for the modernisation project.
