China's 'big three' and parent companies issued USD12.7bn of short term notes in 1Q2020

Air China, China Eastern Airlines and China Southern Airlines and their parent companies issued CNY90.5 billion (USD12.7 billion) of short term notes since 23-Jan-2020 (South China Morning Post, 01-Jun-2020). China Eastern and its parent company issued CNY47.7 billion (USD6.7 billion) of super short term commercial paper, the largest among China's 'big three' airlines. Sichuan Airlines and Xiamen Airlines issued short term commercial paper of CNY5.1 billion (USD717.2 million) and CNY3.3 billion (USD464.1 million) since 23-Jan-2020, respectively.
