China Eastern Airlines Group ends 2018 with 692 aircraft

China Eastern Airlines reported (29-Mar-2019) the group introduced 67 aircraft and retired 14 aircraft in 2018, ending the year with 692 aircraft. Its fleet includes 230 owned, 260 under financial lease, 190 under operating lease and 12 business aircraft held under trust. Details as follows:

  • Boeing 777-300ER: 20 with average fleet age of 2.9 years;
  • 787-9: Four with average fleet age of 0.2 years;
  • A350-900: Two with average fleet age of 0.1 years;
  • A330: 57 with average fleet age of 5.2 years;
  • A320: 307 with average fleet age of 6.7 years;
