China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines and Air China reducing capacity to Sri Lanka

China Eastern Airlines GSA Dart Aviation director and GM Eustace Silva said the carrier plans to suspend four times weekly Shanghai Pudong-Colombo service from 01-May-2019 (Daily News, 26-Apr-2019). Services from Kunming and Beijing to Colombo will continue. China Southern Airlines GSA Hemas Aviation and Air China GSA Jetwing Air separately said the airlines will reduce services to Colombo after China issued a travel advisory to Sri Lanka.
