Cebu Pacific may open new destinations in Australia, India and Japan with A321neos

Cebu Pacific president and CEO Lance Gokongwei said the airline's A321neo aircraft will have the range to potentially serve destinations including Cairns, Perth, northern Japan and India (AirlineRatings/Business World Online, 11/12-Feb-2019). He said: "We are continuously studying new routes and destinations... but plans are not concrete for now". Country manager for Japan Tomohiko Matsumoto said the carrier is considering new services from Cebu and Clark to Japan due to the shortage of slots at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
