Cathay Pacific does not expect cargo volume to rebound in the coming months

Cathay Pacific director commercial and cargo Ronald Lam stated (18-Jul-2019) the outlook for cargo sees no signs of volume rebound for the coming months. He said weakening market sentiment has been impacting tonnage uplift and yield. Overall volume has been declining month-on-month and year-on-year, with the exception of the Americas, Northeast Asia and mainland China, which recorded a “marginal increase in uplift” compared to May-2019.
