Cathay Pacific CEO Augustus Tang stated 90% of the airline's employees have agreed to take unpaid leave in 2H2020 as part of the carrier's second round of the special leave scheme (South China Morning Post, 01-Jul-2020). The first round of the special leave scheme, from Mar-2020 to Jun-2020, saw 80% of employees subscribe. The carrier also said that recovery from the coronavirus pandemic would be a "slow" one.
