Car2Go commenced vehicle rental operations in Paris, deploying 400 Smart EQ electric vehicles (La Tribune, 15-Jan-2019). The company will utilise the 1000 vehicle recharging stands commissioned by the City of Paris for use by previous operator Autolib', Car2Go aims to expand to 800 vehicles by the end of 2019.
